Pediatric multiple sclerosis post covid: a case report

چکیده

Case presentation: Female adolescent, 15 years old, complains that for 6 months she has felt generalized muscle weakness and increased in recent days associated with changes sensitivity left dimidium, evolving 1 week to the right ~15 after, culminates bilaterally lower limb plegia. She denies fever use of medication continuous use. Her relevant personal history is: tested positive SARS-CoV-2 before neurological symptoms. In evaluation, muscular strength limbs was symmetrical IV V upper limbs, sensory level close thoracoabdominal transition (T9-T10) (with impairment tactile, pain, vibratory proprioceptive sensitivity), abolished Aquileus reflex, flaccid paraparesis exaltation patellar reflexes. Patient, absence infectious signs, hospitalized conducted methylprednisolone pulsotherapy Omeprazole Albendazole. The patient initially classified as Clinically Isolated Syndrome (CIS) diagnosis disease later closed result liquoric puncture oligoclonal bands present thus, made therapy Glathyromer Acetate, Gabapentin Vitamin D.
